DOORS - Final project for the Master's Degree in Composition and VFX

This is a short film where we put into practice the techniques of composition and VFX learned
during the Master.
The story is narrated from a character that appears in different environments where strange and fantastic acts happen.
We wanted to take care of the aesthetics so that it would be attractive and the effects would add interest to the story.
We were faced with software that we hadn't used before, with complex composition shots in NUKE, to create credible but fantastic images at the same time by means of comping and matte painting.
We have created shaders, effects, eliminated annoying elements in the shots, captured light from natural spaces, created 3D spaces and lighting for these scenes.
